A Trip To Lytham St Annes

On Wednesday, Simon and I took a trip to Lytham St Annes so that we could visit his family. We had such a lovely time that I wanted to do a travel diary sort of thing.

Day 1

After waking up at 4am, traveling on two busses and catching two trains, we finally arrived in Preston where we met with Simon’s Grandad.

We made our way to Simon’s Grandad’s house and then headed out for lunch. We had lunch at a beautiful pub which sadly I forgot to take photos of. All you need to know is that the burger I ordered was amazing!

We then spent a little time in the arcades which is one of my favourite part of the trips.

After the arcades, we went for a little walk around Lytham St Annes. We came across some beautiful scenery and the beach was absolutely lovely.

The first day was spent exploring and spending time with family and it was absolutely lovely!

Day 2

After a perfect night sleep and a yummy breakfast in the hotel, Simon and I went for a little walk along the promenade.

The weather wasn’t the nicest but we weren’t about to let that ruin our day.

We then hit the shops and ended up leaving with some Disney plushies.

After a little rest we headed into Blackpool to do some shopping, playing in the arcades and we visited Sea Life

Sea Life was an amazing experience. We got to see lots of… well… sea life. We walked through a tunnel where sharks were swimming all around us.

Simon and I then spent the rest of the evening in the hotel having a relaxing night.

Day 3

This was the last day of our trip. I was so sad to be leaving but it’s okay because I know that we will be going back soon.

After eating a lovely breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we met up with Simon’s Grandad and headed to another hotel for lunch.

The hotel was called The Gibbon Bridge and it was so pretty.

We had a walk around the hotel grounds and I couldn’t stop myself from taking hundreds of photos, it was so pretty.

After our meal, we headed into Ribchester and had a look at the Roman bath house.

We then made our way to the train station for a two hour journey home.

We had such a lovely trip and can’t wait to go again!
