A Month In My Bullet Journal | February 2017

I thought that this month it would be a nice idea to show you a flip through of everything that happened in my journal this month. There were some mistakes, some doodles and some actual planning. My journal is far from perfect but that’s what makes it special to me.

So here we go

The first spread in my journal for February is the monthly planner and goals list. I usually write a list of ‘tasks’ instead of goals. However, I never managed to find that many monthly tasks so I switched it over to goals. I now write in things that I wish to achieve.

My next spread is my tracker and gratitude log. I like to keep my tracker pretty simple and I only use it for tracking things that I should be doing daily (apart from the period tracker). As you can see, I’m not the best at doing my daily tacks as there’s lots of uncoloured boxes.

My gratitude log is very simple. I simply write the day and then write a couple of things that I am grateful for. At the start of the month I accidentally missed a few days because I simply didn’t have the motivation to fill them in. I jumped back on track on the 6th though.

I then went on to creating my first weekly spread. I decided to do weekly spreads instead of dailies because I simply just wasn’t feeling the whole bullet journalling thing. I wanted to keep it very simple but enough detail so that I could still do a little bit of planning. I will admit that I slacked when it came to filling out the first week in February but I’m not going to beat myself up over it.

On the next spread, I created a ‘2017 reading challenge’ tracker. I’m not very happy with how this page turned out. It turns out that drawing stars is really hard.

Keeping to the theme of books, I created two lists on the next spread. One list is ‘books to buy’ and the other is ‘books to read in 2017’. I have no where near finished filling this spread out and I don’t really have the motivation to do so. They were pretty impulsive pages and I kind of regret creating them.

I then found all my bullet journal inspiration from Boho Berry and I started to get back into it more. I started with a simple weekly spread and I filled it with planning, doodles and stickers.

Taking more inspiration from Boho Berry, I decided to do my weekly spread but also include daily pages. I found this to be much more fun and effective.

My weekly page is separated into two coloums. One from time specific events and the other for day specific events.

I included some Japanese words that I have been learning in the middle of my week so that I can look back on them whenever I’m planning and be reminded of the phrases.

For the next week, I kept with the same layout as it worked for me and it helped me to stay organised.

That’s all that’s in my February bullet journal. I might make this post a monthly thing.

Love your reading map, great ideas. Lovethe look of bullet journals but I am so picky so my Happy Planner is ideal for me as can move pages. Love the look of yours, so pretty with the handlettering

I love what you did with this, Eleanor! I’m too aesthetically challenged to create beautiful bullet journals, but I do keep a gratitude journal for jotting down good things that happened to me every day. 🙂

You should start one! You can make it as complicated or as easy as you like so it’s great for lazy people too x
