I recently bought a FitBit Flex 2 and I love it so much that I just had to dedicate a blog post to it.
I used to have a FitBit Charge HR but because I’m me, I lost it (like everything else I own) so I was determined to save up and buy another one.
After doing a little more research into FitBit, I noted the Flex 2. It was absolutely perfect for me; simple, beautiful, waterproof and stylish.
The first thing that I noted when taking the Flex 2 out of the box is how small it is compared to other FitBits. It’s significantly smaller is size which is great. I would say that it is the size of any other wristband that you would wear. It is also shockingly light weight.
The FitBit app is also great and simple to understand and use.
Minimalist design, slimmest Fitbit device I have seen so far.
Automatically tracks basic activity like steps, distance, active minutes, sleep, and calories burned.
Waterproof. Finally a slim tracker that I can wear to log swims.
Automatically tracks sleep so I don’t need to manually start sleep mode on the tracker (like I did for the original Flex)
Battery life approximately 5 days so far. Took me a little over an hour to get a full charge.
Strap is of good quality. I’m not sure exactly what material it’s made from, but it’s significantly better than the original Flex strap.
No clock. After having a FitBit Charger HR, I got pretty used to being able to check the time on my FitBit.
Tracker needs to be removed from strap every time for charging. It’s inconvenient to say the least.
Battery life of 4-5 days. I would expect battery to last a lot more given that there is no screen.
No Heart Rate Monitor.
What do you think of the Flex 2?
