A to Z Bookish Survey

I recently came across a bookish A-Z survey which was created by The Perpetual Page-Turner. I came across this survey while watching this video so check that out too.

A-Z Bookish Survey

So, onto the survey…

Author you’ve read the most books from:

Malorie Blackman.

Best Sequel Ever:

The Resistance (The Declaration Book 2) by Gemma Malley.

Currently Reading:

How To Stop Time by Matt Haig.

Drink of Choice While Reading:

Tea.

Ereader or Physical Book?

I’m definitely a physical book girl but love my Kindle as well. It definitely gives me the opportunity to read more books that I probably wouldn’t have otherwise.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:

I was the awkward shy girl so I probably wouldn’t have dated anyone but I would definitely have had a crush on Park from Eleanor And Park. I was just into anyone nerdy.

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

The Small Hand: A Ghost Story by Susan Hill. It’s not my usual type of book but I loved it!

Hidden Gem Book:

Matched by Ally Condie. Definitely a book that needs more love.

Important Moment in your Reading Life:

When my best friend of the time asked me to read a book called Airhead by Meg Cabot. I read it and I really got into reading from there.

Just Finished:

Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch.

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:

I think I’m pretty open to trying all types of books so this question is a little hard to answer. I do tend to avoid crimes though.

Longest Book You’ve Read:

I tend to only read pretty short books due to my short attention span so I won’t even answer this question.

Major book hangover because of:

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. If you’ve read it then you’ll know exactly what I mean.

Number of Bookcases You Own:

At the moment, I only have 3 bookcases but my partner and I plan on getting a bigger house soon and then there will be room for even more books!

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman.

Preferred Place To Read:

I definitely prefer reading at home as I just get distracted when I’m outside. I will read anywhere in the house though.

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:

“Scared is what you’re feeling. Brave is what you’re doing.” ― Emma Donoghue, Room.

Reading Regret:

Getting into a reading slump that lasted for a whole year. That was the worst reading slump ever and I’m honestly so glad that I’m out of it now!

Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):

I have many but I’d say the Percy Jackson series since I’m currently making my way slowly through it.

Three of your All-Time Favourite Books:

Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and The Declaration by Gemma Malley.

Unapologetic Fangirl For:

Anything by Rainbow Rowell.

Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:

27 hours by Tristing Wright.

Worst Bookish Habit:

Buying too many books even though my tbr pile is already huge.

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Not yet read but soon, very soon..

Your latest book purchase:

Roar by Cora Carmack.

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY too late)

Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch. Just the other night I was sat in bed reading it until way too late.

If you see this post then consider yourself tagged to do this survey. I would love to see your responses.
